Pricing/Payment Guide

Julie’s Homecooking Personal Chef Service offers meal service for singles, couples and families starting as low as $175.00 plus tax and the cost of groceries. Each package is customized for you and specific pricing is based on your needs and the frequency of your service. Below is sample of the packages available:

5 x 4 Happy Family Package serves a family of 4 for a week or a couple for 2 weeks. $325.00

5 entrees, 4 portions each = 20 servings

This package is the very best value for busy families.

3×4 Budget Package serves a family of 4 for a half week or a couple for a week. $250.00

3 entrees, 4 portions each = 12 servings

This package is perfect for families who like to dine out or cook occasionally.

2×4 Simplicity Package serves a family of 4 for 2 awesome meals or a couple for 2 great meals with encores. $175.00

2 entrees, 4 portions = 8 servings

This package is ideal for a small family with a full schedule

1 x 4 Special Night In Package serves a family of 4 for 1 fantastic meal or a couple for a romantic dinner plus leftovers! $200.00

1 very special entrée, 4 portions = 4 servings.

This package is “The Occasion” package complete with all the trimmings including dessert.

Additional Fees

Groceries

Grocery costs are in addition to the chef’s fee. Organic or non-organic groceries are at your discretion and can be determined during our initial consultation.

Container Cost
Disposable containers are purchased for your initial use unless it is determined that you have sufficient containers for storage purposes. Glass Pyrex containers are suggested for long-term clients, as they are earth friendly, freezer to oven safe and actually are less expensive in the long run. These are yours to keep and cost varies depending on size of service.

Payment

In order to reserve your cook date and confirm service, Julie’s Homecooking requires that your grocery deposit is received a week prior to your service date. Grocery deposit varies depending on size of service. If the cost of groceries exceeds the deposit amount, the balance will be added to your final bill. If the cost of groceries is less than your deposit, the balance will be credited towards your final payment. You will receive a copy of your grocery bill on your cook date. The total payment balance is due on cook date before 4pm. New clients may conveniently pay with credit cards through PayPal online or in person with an additional processing fee of 3.5%. Long term clients will have preferred payment options.

Salads

You can choose from any salad imaginable, or let us make something special for you – leafy green salads with homemade dressing, fresh fruit salads, savory vegetable salads or pasta salads all created using the best ingredients available. Each salad makes 4-6 servings, and is priced at $20.00 plus the cost of groceries.

Desserts
Got sweets? Julie’s Homecooking Personal Chef Service has got you covered! Made from scratch and made with love, Chef Julie’s desserts are the perfect finish to a great meal. Cobblers, cakes, cookies and pies…Oh my! Each dessert is priced individually. Ask for details.

Gift certificates

Gift certificates are also available for any of the packages listed above or Julie’s Homecooking can create a uniquely personalized gift certificate so you can give a gift of food as special as the person you’re gifting!
